Disclosures & privacy

The boring page, written so you can actually read it.

Affiliate disclosure

ProvenShelf takes part in affiliate programmes, including Digistore24 and the merchants selling through it. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I receive a commission from the merchant.

You never pay more because of this. The price is the same whether you use my link or go direct.

This is how the site pays for itself. It also means you should read what I write with that in mind — which is exactly why every page here carries a "who should skip it" section. If I only ever told you to buy things, the recommendations would be worthless.

Health disclaimer

I am not a doctor, dietitian, nurse, therapist or any other kind of licensed health professional. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Supplements, books and programmes discussed here are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Statements about them have not been evaluated by the FDA or any equivalent regulator.

Speak to a qualified professional before starting any supplement, changing your diet, or beginning a new programme — particularly if you are pregnant or nursing, taking medication, managing a diagnosed condition, or under 18.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country.

Results disclaimer

Individual results vary. Testimonials and outcomes described by any merchant are not typical and are not a promise of what you will experience. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of any health, financial or personal outcome.

Privacy

What this site collects: nothing directly. There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up and no account system on ProvenShelf.

Fonts: this site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address as part of that request. See Google's privacy policy for details.

Affiliate tracking: when you click an affiliate link, the merchant may set a cookie to record that you arrived through me. That cookie is set by them, on their site, under their privacy policy — not mine. I never see your name, email, payment details or what you bought. I see only anonymous, aggregate click and commission counts.

Third-party sites: once you leave ProvenShelf, you're covered by the destination site's privacy policy and terms, not this one.
